Dr. David Weed, Coordinator of the Sowams Heritage Area Project, will offer a 90-minute presentation to the Friends of the Somerset Library group at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2025. The talk will focus on the outbreak of the war that took place not far from Somerset in June of 1675, as well as the causes and outcome of the conflict. The event that will take place at the Somerset Public Library at 1564 County Street in Somerset, MA, is free and open to the public. Registration is not required.
